The compensation depends on which laser cutter you want to use the voucher code for. Regardless of whether you previously had an expensive or the cheapest laser cutter on the market – you will always receive the same amount, whether for an xTool M1 laser cutter or for the xTool P2 laser cutter.

Neither the brand of the laser nor the location of your order matters – you just need to be able to prove that you have bought a laser cutter before.

However, xTool makes a distinction in its trade-in program as to whether you previously had a laser cutter or a vinyl cutter. If you submit an invoice for a vinyl cutter, the amount of the voucher codes is slightly lower.

Here is a short step-by-step guide explaining what you need to consider when applying for the xTool Trade Up program.

Invoice from a laser cutter

You need an invoice for your current laser cutter or vinyl cutter. It doesn’t matter how expensive the devices are, where they were bought or what brand they are, it only needs to be an invoice for one device.

Upload Invoice

xTool has created a special form for the Trade Up program, which you can find at the bottom of the Trade Up page. In the form you have to enter an email address and a few details.

Why you are upgrading: – It is best to write here directly which laser cutter you would like to have.
TradeUpType: – Here you enter what your old device is, in most cases it is the laser cutter 😀
Your current model: – Here you enter the model of which you have an invoice

Finally, upload the invoice and submit the form.
The processing usually takes 24 hours, if something doesn’t work out please write to me, I can contact the xTool staff directly.
